Atlas leads the way in the Irish Market

Since the early 90's Atlas products have been operating in Ireland but it was not until 2007 that things really took off.

As a result of winning a small pilot scheme for the IHBMA (Irish Hardware Building Materials Association) in mid 2007 Atlas products have expanded its operation in Ireland dramatically, so much so that we now have an office in Dublin and 5 permanent staff, with the backing of 35 additional staff based over all areas of the UK.

The IHBMA pilot was a huge success and all the members have taken and embraced all levels of EDI that Atlas provide and are encouraging its suppliers to get on the EDI bandwagon.

As well as being a leading player in the building trade Atlas have also become a leading player in Irish retail by securing a large piece of business with one of Irelands largest retailers Dunnes Stores.

By implementing our Atlas Fusion product Atlas have saved Dunnes Hundreds of Thousands of Euros, as well as getting electronic trading 100% accurate 100% of the time and brought all the non EDI suppliers onto a system that allows them to do trade electronically.

The cost savings to Dunnes suppliers cannot be overlooked either with again huge savings to Dunnes suppliers with 100% accuracy of invoices, which allows for quicker payment and eventually the cost of any EDI traffic will dramatically reduce by the implementation of Atlas BDX.
